 THE BEAUTY OF BAJA

SAN FELIPE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

The plan also calls for improvements in 10 existing airports and 10 airstrips, to make it easier for tourists to get to the chain of marinas. In this manner, Mexico hopes it will attract year-round mooring and rental income.”

San Diego Metropolitan

San Felipe International Airport (IATA: SFH, ICAO: MMSF) is an international airport located 11 km (6.8 mi) south of the central business district (CBD) of San Felipe. Though not currently served by commercial airlines, the airport is a port of entry into Mexico for general aviation. Since it designated as an international airport, there is a customs office to process visitors. So, if you have a private plane you may fly into San Felipe instead of drive.

Plans are well under way to upgrade the airport to handle commercial flights.
